We sometimes feel stressed, depressed, confused or unable to cope with what is going on in our lives. Counselling is there to help you to make choices and changes, reduce confusion and deal with difficult feelings. Through counselling, you will be able to explore aspects of your life and your feelings about it, and talk things through freely and openly in a way that is rarely possible with even the best friends and family. The counsellor will neither judge nor give advice, but will guide you to understanding and help you to make changes in your life. Counselling effectiveness depends largely on the relationship between you the client and your counsellor, regardless of the counselling or psychotherapy approach used. We have experience in supporting people through a range of difficulties, including: stress and anxiety, which may be stress at home or stress in the workplace. There are a number of sources of stress and anxiety, and we become stressed when the pressures around us exceed our abilities to cope.

Our counsellors can help identify the causes, and also help with stress management techniques and ways of coping with stress.
