Description

We treat post surgical scar tissue, wound healing and fractures. Clinic director Guy Murray is one of 2 fully certified Active Release Techniques in Scotland. He is also certified in the clinical Integrated Diagnostic System, Frequency Specific Microcurrent, Dry Needling, Kinesio taping and various other valuable treatment modalities. Our system is to assess the patient and based on an accurate diagnosis treat individually based on that assessment to effect changes to benefit the patient, we do not use a one size fits all approach.

Guy Murray BA N. T A. T. Certified SFMA Certified One of 2 Certified Active Release Providers in Scotland. Certified in Spine, Lower Extremity, Upper Extremity, Long nerve tract release. Qualified in Frequency Specific Microcurrent and the clinic is also the only FSM clinic in Scotland and only 1 of 3 in the UK.
We have 3 FSM machines. Currently certifying and working through the levels in DNS (currently Level B ) Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization according to Kolar through the Prague University Hospital Motol Rehabilitation department. Professor Pavel Kolar DrPaed, PHd, PT is head of the rehabilitation and was physician to the Czech president. He is also chief physician to the Czech Olympic Team and Czech Davis Love Tennis team. Only therapist in the UK to be certified in Integrative diagnosis and Manual Adhesion Release.
SFMA (Selective functional movement analysis) Certified in Kinesiotaping Certified in Dry needling Studied Manual Articular joint approach with the Jean Pierre Barral Institute . Higher National Diploma in Neuromuscular therapy studying under the internationally reknowned osteopath Certified Sports and remedial Therapist Advanced courses in Osteopathic Positional Release techniques and Muscle Energy Techniques with Advanced courses in Spinal Manipulation High Velocity Low Amplitude Thrust techniques for the Spine and pelvis (HVLAT) Advanced courses in Postural Restoration for the cranium, pelvis and thorax. IKFF certified Kettlebell Instructor Studied dysfunctional movement patterns with Specific area of interest are the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction, the interconnected treatment of soft tissue (muscles, fascia, ligaments, tendons) the nerves and joints and how the nervous system regulates all of the above. Nicola is an experienced sports therapist and has worked with Professional and Amateur footballers both individually and teams. Nicola has an HND in Sports Therapy and then studied at Teeside University
